Corporate Accounting & Finance Manager

A corporate accounting and finance manager leads the accounting and financial aspects of the corporation and is responsible for the accuracy and processing of financial date according to accounting principles and recording and reporting of the company financial info.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the timely and accurate reporting of all financial data and for providing financial reports required by management, regulatory, and financial agencies
  • Responsible for the development, analysis and interpretation of financial and accounting data for the determination of assets, liabilities, sales, profit and appropriate expenses
  • Responsible for complying with regulatory agencies and audits, leading internal audits and reconciliations, and providing advice to management
Specific Responsibilities
  • Directs and maintains the accounting system which results in the accurate presentation of financial info, assets, liabilities, sales, profitability and expenses for the company and its branches
  • Oversees the outflow of company funds, including those used for asset acquisition, payroll, taxes, and vendor expenses
  • Oversees the revenue and customer payments and to ensure accuracy of such. Includes the maintenance of accounts and negative balances
  • Responsible for reconciliations of company cash accounts and investments according to accounting principles
  • Oversees company assets, including accounts receivable, inventory, and fixed assets, and reconciles, records, and reports according to accounting principles
  • Leads reconciling of all General Ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and accordance with accounting principles
  • Leads internal audits and processes of accounting and financial data and provides management, outside CPAs, and regulatory bodies with accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Responsible for ensuring all company tax filings and compliance, including federal, state, local, payroll, sales, and property taxes
  • Ensures accuracy of company information system, which includes computer and business systems, and works with IT department and management in this process
  • Oversees the accounting and financial aspects as it relates to the company whole goods, parts and service departments to ensure accurate financial data, reporting, and process in regard to sales, expenses, cash, accounts receivable, and inventory control
  • Work with management and department personnel in forecasting and budgeting expectations for sales, expense and asset purchases
  • Work with company bank, floorplan creditors, and vendors to ensure correct and timely process, payment, and reporting of expenses, assets and liabilities. Also lead company accounts payable personnel in this process
  • Develop and maintain a monthly cash flow statement
  • Oversee company accounts receivable, and work with company credit personnel and customers to ensure correct and timely processing of accounts receivable and cash payments
  • Work with human resource personnel to ensure accurate processing of payroll and reporting
  • Lead inventory audits, for internal purposes and external regulatory and floorplan vendors
  • Responsible for leading team of accounting, credit, payable, and human resource personnel
  • Responsible for working with outside CPA firm to ensure accurate and timely financial and tax reporting
Education/Experience
  • Bachelor of science degree in accounting
  • CPA optional
  • Has a working knowledge of accounting systems, financial analysis, and computer literacy

Heavy Equipment Technician | Springdale, AR

  • Responsible for the set-up and repair of Vermeer and associated equipment
  • Incorporate quality and efficient work practices for timely completion of all work orders
  • Customer satisfaction and retention will be fundamental in this position
Specific Responsibilities
  • Strong mechanical aptitude in trouble-shooting and diagnosing problems
  • Knowledge of equipment operations and functions
  • Computer skills
  • Self-motivated in assuming and completing assigned tasks
  • Team player with pleasing personality

Education/Experience
  • Hydraulic experience required
  • DC Electrical experience required
  • Diesel engine experience
